The Bond Museum in Keswick, Lake District

Pierce Brosnan in a promotional still from the launch of Die Another Day in 2002
The museum really excels in displaying a number of vehicles from this the 20th Bond film. Not only is the actual ‘hero’ Aston Martin Vanquish on display but we also have the actual Skiddoo and wait for it… the Zao Hovercraft that Bond uses in another great pre-title chase.

Aston Martin Vanquish V12

In the film the Vanquish has a ‘Invisibility cloak, which is not so far fetched as it sounds, but is also fitted with machine guns and rockets and the ejector seat is back.

The Vanquish was purchased directly from Aston Martin and is the one actually seen driven by Pierce Brosnan in the film.

Zao's Osprey 5 Hovercraft

The actual Zao Hovercraft that Bond steals from Colonel Moon and uses in another great pre-title chase sequence over North Korea's demilitarised zone (actually filmed at Aldershot's military training ground in the UK).

The reason hovercrafts where used in the DMZ was to float over the minefields left by the Americans when Korea was divided into North and South. Here Colonel Moon uses them to smuggle weapons for African conflict diamonds.

Skiddoo

Protecting his Ice Palace in Iceland, Gustav Graves's arms his bodyguards with Bombardier Skiddoo MX ZREV snowmobiles.

This is an actual skiddoo used in the film.
