Lotus Esprit Turbo
The Lotus is back in action in this 1981 film. The white Lotus Esprit Turbo at the beginning of the film has the ultimate burglar deterant
it simply explodes killing the would be thief
.it also destroys the car... doh!
In the second half of the film however, Bond has a new copper coloured Lotus Esprit Turbo, now with ski racks fitted. Both the actual cars used in the film (they only blew up a shell, thank goodness!) are here on display in the museum.
The museum also owns the Beach Buggy used by Aristotle Kristatos' henchmen, Emile Locque, to knock down and kill the Contessa Lisl Von Schlaf.
