You Only Live Twice

Toyota 2000GT

Appealing to a global audience this is a fantasy filled film with the author Roald Dahl acting as screenwriter and Lewis Gilbert as director, however, it is the production designs of Ken Adam, and the pocket of producers Cubby and Saltzman, that give the film its grandiose and believable settings.

The car that features in the film is the Toyota 200GT, which was actually only made as a coupe, with only three convertibles known to exist. The car on display has the original control panel fitted from the film.

A superb timeless motorcar and the first true Japanese sports car.

The Toyota 2000GT. Which had
to be made into a convertible
to fit Sean Connery's height!

Little Nell, bearing a striking resemblance to YOLT's Little Nellie.

Little Nellie

One of the key vehicles from this film is of course Little Nellie, sadly we do not have her, however in our ‘Science of Bond’ inventory we have Little Nel, Little Nellies second cousin twice removed, showing how the autogyro actually works.
