Goldfinger

Aston Martin DB5

Goldfinger is arguably the most iconic of all the Bond films and for me the most memorable. No Bond museum worth its salt would be without one of the star vehicles of the whole Bond series: the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 – with gadgets of course!

Sadly the original car from the film was stolen some years ago from an aircraft hangar in the US and has never been recovered, however the museum is the proud owner of the famous ‘UNCLE car’. It featured in the "Man From UNCLE" film driven by JB and fitted with the usual gadgets.

The museum also owns the gadgeted DB5 currently on display at the superb Spy Museum in Washington DC, where it is one of their most popular exhibits.

One of the best ‘Bond’ information books ever written is Dave Worrall's ‘The Most Famous Car In the World’ that tells the fascinating story of the Bond Aston DB5’s, it is a must for fans of this car.
