Dr. No

The Tank in action in the film patrolling the island of Crab Key
Dr. No (1962) was chosen as the first film adaptation of Ian Fleming’s Bond books although it was the sixth book written and published in 1958.

In retrospect it had the dream team of director Terence Young, a stylish and elegant man who perfectly set the tone for the whole series; Sean Connery who in was the perfect choice as the first Bond; Producers Albert 'Cubby' Brocolli, Harry Saltzman and David Picker and their numerous cast and crew including a rarely surpassed baddie in Joseph Wiseman. As for the Bond girl, Ursula Andress in that scene in the bikini emerging from the sea is now legendary.

Dr. No's Dragon Tank

Seen at numerous Bond events including the major Bond exhibition at the Paris Motor Show in 1992 and the Blu-ray launch at Bletchley Park the Dragon Tank opens the vehicle line up.
In the film Dr. No uses it to deter the locals and visitors from Crab Key, his mysterious Island.

The museum has the original flamethrower used in the film.
