The Aston Martin DBS V12 from Quantum of Solace now on display!

New to our museum this summer is the Aston Martin DBS V12 from the last Bond film, Quantum of Solace. We are very proud to have this car on display here at Keswick since August 2009. Complete with Italian white, chalk quarry dust and a missing driver's door, this is the fabulous car from the amazing pre-credit chase sequence from the last Daniel Craig film. Come and see it for yourself!

We've Been Expecting You…

Welcome to Keswick's most exciting visitor attraction, the James Bond Museum. We opened in April 2009 and have a unique private collection that has taken over twenty years to assemble numerous vehicles and props from the films of everyone's favourite secret agent. But, have we got your favourite Bond car? Well, have a look round our website to find out, or even better, come and see it in person.
See you soon,
Peter Nelson.

James Bond Museum News…

James Bond's motorised co-stars on display
from Stuff.co.nz website on 19 Nov 2009
The Bond Museum, which opened in April, is in an unexpected location, the cutesy town of Keswick in the English Lake District. Keswick is a town of muddy boots, boat cruises and gorgeous West Highland terriers walking their owners around. Its markets, pubs and B&Bs reek of a cheerful, old-fashioned quaintness, yet Keswick has something of a quirky streak...

The James Bond Museum - From Keswick, With Love
from Western Austraila WAToday website on 15 Nov 2009
On location in the English countryside, a stellar and revved-up cast awaits fans, writes David Whitley. On a list of cool things to find in a scrapyard, this has to be near the top. It has seen better days but the battered contraption in front of me is one of the coolest vehicles of all time. Anyone with a passing interest in James Bond will recognise the car as the Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me, the one that turns into a submarine as Roger Moore drives it into the sea...

Ill Carlisle Teen Lives Life as Movie Hero James Bond
from Carlisle News & Star on 12 May 2009
Carlisle’s very own Harvey Tye, a 13-year-old, who suffers from a life-limiting muscle wasting condition, saw his dreams come true when he spent the day living just like his hero, 007. He looked every inch the super spy as he climbed into his Aston Martin and fought off some villains. Harvey’s dream came true thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Peter Nelson, the owner of Keswick's new Bond Museum...
